A Podcast About What Moves Us

Episodes Coming Soon

Strengthening the connective tissue that ties us together, one story at a time.

Like tissue in the body, we are all connected. As our very humanity becomes more divided and fragmented, the whole body hurts. Just as our ache is collective, our healing must be collective too. With MOVD, we use storytelling to strengthen our collective connective tissue. We believe that when shared, micro moments, ephemeral experiences, and everyday miracles have the power to connect us more deeply to ourselves, each other, and the world around us.  Empathy is medicine and a muscle we build through listening, learning, and letting ourselves move and be moved together.

Mariah Rooney, Host of MOVD Podcast

“I believe in storytelling as connective tissue, the ties and tendons that strengthen our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. I believe empathy is the medicine to strengthen what’s atrophied, and in sharing our stories, we begin to heal what’s torn.”
